On the Delaware River, Captain LaSorte pilots a Hyde low-profile driftboat. The boat is replaced annually, and is maintained in immaculate condition. The low profile enables flyfishers to enter and exit the boat with ease. The overall design of the Hyde boat makes it one of the safest and most stable crafts afloat. As the Delaware River system is dependent on releases from the Cannonsville and Pepactin Reservoirs, water levels are occasionally too low to float. In these instances, Captain LaSorte modifies the itinerary to offer full-service, guided wade fishing trips.
